This Privacy Policy explains what information SocialReels (“SocialReels,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers everyone who interacts with the Service, including people who submit a request through our public request form.

1. Information we collect

  • Content you submit — photos and details you upload through our public request form for a marketing video, and the videos generated from them.
  • Request and contact details — when you submit a request, we collect your name, email, and optionally your business name; for the “Pin to Sold” video template, we also collect a reusable agent profile (name, title, phone, email, photo) so you don't have to re-enter it on a future request.
  • Custom-build inquiries — the brand or agency name, contact name, and contact email you submit when inquiring about a custom-build engagement.
  • Usage data — your request and job history, and basic activity needed to operate the Service (e.g. which styles or templates you used).

2. How we use your information

We use this information to provide the Service — generating your videos, fulfilling and invoicing submitted requests, following up on custom-build inquiries, providing support, and improving reliability. We don't use your uploaded photos to train models, and we don't sell your personal information.

3. Third parties we work with

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service, including:

  • A database provider — stores your request and job data.
  • AI infrastructure providers — process the photos and details you submit to generate your videos.
  • Cloud storage — stores the photos and media you upload and the media we generate for you.
  • An email delivery provider — sends invoices and request status updates.

These providers only receive what they need to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments. We don't publish the specific vendors we use, but you can request details about a specific provider by contacting us.

4. Data retention

We retain submitted request data and generated content for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the request. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see Contact below.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies and session identifiers

We use only the session identifiers needed to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's privacy

SocialReels is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
